From WEST:  I-84 EAST to Exit 17 (Route 63 - Watertown - Naugatuck).
Turn LEFT onto Route 63.  Go 0.4 miles to traffic light (Junction Routes 63 & 64). 
Turn LEFT on Route 64 WEST and go about 1.7 miles.   Turn RIGHT onto Charcoal Avenue.  (This is 1st right after Post Office.) 
Charcoal Avenue goes off at an angle with pond to the LEFT. 
Stay on Charcoal 1.5 miles to White Deer Rock Road which may not have a sign. 
It is straight ahead and down a hill to the RIGHT at the intersection where Charcoal Avenue curves left. 
Continue on White Deer Rock Road 0.5 miles to fork in road, next to lake.  Keep RIGHT up hill to Highfield. 
Sign may say "STAY OUT - PATROLLED."

From EAST:  I-84 WEST to Exit 17 (Routes 63 & 64 - Middlebury). 
Stay on Route 64 WEST straight through traffic light and go about 1.7 miles.  
Turn RIGHT onto Charcoal Avenue.  (This is 1st right after Post Office.)
