The Patricia Creed Scholarship In 1997, the Patricia Creed Scholarship was established under the auspices of the PME/CWGA Scholarship Fund. It was initially endowed by a gift of C. Edwin Creed, husband of Patricia. It is funded annually by the Creed family. This award is presented annually in memory of Patricia Creed, a long-time CWGA member, CWGA Past President, Committee member and fine golfer. Patricia's memory lives on through this scholarship. The recipient of this award will be a Connecticut girl regardless of race, color, creed or club affiliation who epitomizes the spirit and values that Patricia Creed exhibited. This award is reserved for outstanding high school seniors who, preferably, attend a public college or university, and who, in the opinion of the Scholarship Committee, are in need of financial assistance. They should be of superior character and perform well both in high school and on the golf course. |

The PME/CWGA Scholarship Fund The PME/CWGA Scholarship Fund for girls was established in 1977 following a generous endowment by Priscilla Maxwell Endicott. It is to be used for scholarships to undergraduates for a maximum of four years at the college of their choice and will be awarded to any Connecticut girl regardless of race, color, creed or club affiliation. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of participation in golf programs, academic performance and financial need. The PME/CWGA Scholarship Committee conducts personal interviews with finalists. The Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship Fund is affiliated with the Connecticut Women's Golf Association, but is an entirely separate and distinct operation. The Scholarship Fund is dependent upon the support of CWGA members in order to be successful in providing the necessary scholarship aid to juniors who represent the future of women's golf. It is a federally tax-exempt organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Other named scholarships are maintained under the umbrella of the PME/CWGA Scholarship Fund.
